The Kindle has been available in Ireland since 2013. At launch – it was just a good but basic e-reader for reading books. Since then , the Amazon Kindle family has grown into a range of various e-readers and KIndle Fire tablets that can be used to browse the internet, play games and watch films as well as read books.

Just for use as an e-reader there is the Kindle Paperwhite , the Kindle Voyage , the Kindle Ocean . The Kindle Fire is not quite as good for reading – but has many more functions such as Internet, Apps, Games, Photos and Film.
